About

“Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know”. Pema Chödrön (1997)

I am a Certified Transactional Analyst psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer from the UK, and a qualified mental health nurse, with more than 30 years experience working with individuals, couples and groups both in private practice and within the public health sector (NHS) and primary care service. Whilst I have worked extensively with clients experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties, I have specialised in working with issues such as eating disorders, self harm and the effects of childhood sexual abuse.

Since moving to Granada in 2001, I have established a psychotherapy and counselling practice, working with individuals, couples and groups. I also offer clinical supervision to qualified and trainee psychotherapists and counsellors.

I have been a visiting trainer at a number of UK psychotherapy training organisations and, in 2004, I established and taught a four-year psychotherapy training programme in Granada. Since 2023 I have been a primary tutor for TA East, a training establishment in East London, which offers training in Transactional Analysis with an intersectional lens.

I am an examiner for the Certified Transactional Analysis (CTA) clinical examinations and for the Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analysis (TSTA) examinations, and have chaired and supervised exam boards in many European countries.

Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) is a universally recognised professional psychotherapy qualification which entitles those qualified to be included in national and international psychotherapy registers in Europe and throughout the world. Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) authorises its holders to teach and supervise CTA’s as well as to practice as clinicians.

I am a registered member of the following professional and International Organisations and adhere to their codes of ethics:
